A 3d WIP

Been quite a while since i have done any 3d work so i thought i would take an old unfinished model and finish it. Need to add some hair, UV map, add a texture map and finally rig the character.

    Never did 3D (just quasi-3D with Fireworks, but this doesn’t count;-) and wondered, how amazing movies like Shrek and many others are made…

    What I see (here), is Maya (just a guess)? :-)

    This was done in a program called Lightwave, not maya. I find drawing in 2d hard, just out of practice now i guess.

    If you are interested in how movies are made there’s a few sites that have articles on them. http://vfxworld.com/ is one.

    Lightwave? Just heard the name, never saw (in practice) — as Maya, actually — as I’ve never been in 3D:)
